Coming to the recipe now. Chaas is a diluted form of salted yogurt drink. The ingredients are so simple and always available in your pantry. You can add either chilled water or chilled yogurt to make this cool drink. If you have some time in hand you can prepare it with room temperature ingredients and put the chaas inside the fridge for 15-20 minutes before consuming it.
Chaas / Buttermilk
Curd – 1 cup,
Water – 2 cups, chilled
Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
Black salt – 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoon (finely chopped)
1. Take curd in a big size bowl and beat it with a mechanical or electrical hand blender. You can also use a spoon.
2. Now add water and mix well.
3. Finally add black salt and salt as per your taste and mix well.
4. Pour the mixture in to two glasses. Garnish with some freshly chopped coriander leaves.
