Baby Corn Pepper Fry

Baby corn pepper fry is a quick and easy snack recipe to accompany with your evening tea or coffee. Normally, I use baby corn in dal or khichdi along with other vegetables and this becomes a wholesome meal with vegetables. Last time I prepared baby corn pakoda which is also a unique recipe and good as tea time snack.

Earlier baby corn used to be in my bi-weekly vegetable's pick list as the local vegetable vendor used to stock fresh baby corn every week. We relocated from that place last year and presently where we are staying we do not have good access of vegetable vendors except the Monday sabji mandi (vegetable market). Though we get freshly produce vegetables on Monday market however, we don't get the fancy vegetables including baby corn, zucchini, mushrooms, colourful bell peppers, etc. For these vegetables we have to depend on nearby departmental store. My recent visit to departmental store made me very happy as I got fresh pack of baby corns. So I picked up a box without wasting time. This time I decided to prepare another quick evening snack, baby corn pepper fry using baby corns. This is also a very good started to begin your meal.

baby corn starter recipe

If I am using baby corn as a main ingredient of the dish I always prefer to prepare either starter or snacks. This time I thought of making pepper fry as it is a easy and tasty recipe. By now you must be knowing the USP of my blog is to prepare easy and tasty recipes which anyone can try at home. Personally, I don't prefer to be at kitchen for longer time (except some days) hence I try to prepare quick and tasty recipes to save your time in the kitchen and you can invest in other hobbies.

Coming to this recipe of baby corn pepper fry, you need limited number of ingredients which are available in your pantry. The recipe calls for ginger and garlic paste and I would suggest to use freshly ground paste of ginger and garlic as they make the dish flavourful. Store bought ginger garlic paste contains preservative and to some extent your dish will have the influence of this particular flavour. So better avoid the use of store bought pastes.
