Chilli Cabbage / Cabbage in soya sauce

Chilli cabbage is an Indo-Chinese dish, goes well with paratha, naan or roti.   We often end up preparing cabbage stir fry or normal cabbage curry, so I thought of giving a different taste to it. At the same time, I was thinking how to make it simple as well as tasty. Then I thought we use cabbage in each and every Chinese dish so I don't I try an Indo-Chinese Side dish? So friends just try this easy Chilli Cabbage and bring some changes in your taste.

Chilli Cabbage / Cabbage in soya sauce

Ingredients

Cabbage - 2 cups, blanched
Onion - 1/2 cup, sliced
Garlic - 1 teaspoon, chopped
Green chilli - 1teaspoon, chopped
Black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
Tomato ketchup - 2 teaspoon
Red chilli sauce - 1 teaspoon
Soya sauce - 1or 2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Sugar - 1 teaspoon
Refined oil

Procedure

Cut cabbage finely and blanch them. Now drain the water and allow them to get dry for half an hour. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped garlic & green chilli. Now add onions, sugar and salt. Wait till onion become translucent. Next add blanched cabbage and cook for 5-7 minutes. Now add all the sauces one by one and black pepper powder. Stir it to mix them well. Switch off the gas and serve with roti or paratha. I added potato in this dish but you can avoid this.
