Chilli Lady Finger / Okra in Soya sauce / Bhindi Stir-fry with sauce

Lady finger (Okra/Bhindi/Dharosh) is full with goodness of dietary fiber, protein, carbohydrates, Vitamin A & C, folic acid and minerals like Iron, Potassium, Magnesium. It helps to stabilize blood sugar, relieve constipation and also used for healing ulcers. It acts as a natural probiotic and antidiabetic herb. Apart from all these, lady finger has many more health benefits. This is a summer special vegetable and used for summer treatment in people who are feeling weak, exhausted, and suffering from depression. Today I am sharing a easy and tasty recipe of lady finger.

Ingredients

Lady finger - 200gm
Onion - finely sliced, 2/3 cup
Garlic - chopped, 1 teaspoon
Green chilli - chopped, 1 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
Sugar
Salt
Tomato sauce - 3 teaspoon
Soya sauce - 3 teaspoon
Oil

Procedure

Wash the lady finger and allow it to dry. After drying, cut lady finger into 1 inch long. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions and later garlic till those become brown. While frying onion and garlic add little salt and sugar. Keep them aside and put some more oil and start frying the lady finger. Close the pan with a lid and cook on slow flame. Add green chilli, salt & sugar as per taste. Keep on stirring it, when the lady finger starts taking brown color add the fried onion and garlic. Now add tomato sauce and cook it for 2 minutes. Finally, add black pepper & soya sauce and saute it. Serve this as side dish with roti, naan or any other rice items.
